I nearly did the splits then fell - luckily onto the top of the very soft mat. That pretty much my feeling of relaxation! My yoga teacher said that another person had the same issue and advised that I put a normal depth 'sticky' mat underneath which seems to work. On a positive note, its lovely and soft which is why I bought it and also a really nice colour (ocean green) and I'm sure it would be ok on top of carpet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Mat - fab thickness *by W***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 July 2019* Excellent product and exactly as I needed. It is obviously going to be very wide when rolled up but it provides a very comfortable surface to use.The foaming isn’t ‘sealed’ from the sides which can make it susceptible to some shredding if not carefully stored.Also due to softness there is a likelihood of indentations staying put and anything sharp will easily leave holes.
