After installation it comes out at 35psi and if using the handheld at the same time it drops significantly to just under 25psi. The sellers answer mentions gpm which can certainly affect the pressure but is not pressure it’s volume. **Q: Has anyone received an answer from raindance about locking the hand held in place- it just rotates- anyone know their email address?** A: Well, if the handheld piece is just rotating without stopping... I'd reach out to the seller themselves. I love a shower head with the arm to use to rinse the private area so that was a plus. My old one had developed mold and out it went. When I turned this one on I was so surprised at the pressure. I thought I had fine pressure on my old one but it was nothing compared to this new one. Even the shower arm had excellent pressure. I have never been thrilled with the rain feature on my old one. It was like a slow fine rain and I wanted it to be like a heavy rain shower. This morning needless to say I was beyond surprised at this one and I am not exaggerating. It was a heavy full shower, I loved it. When it stated that it had "Premium High Pressure" that is the truth. I can't wait to take another shower. I have always had good water pressure because my water line runs down hill. But it is nothing like this. I am a senior and can say this is the best shower head I have ever used. This really belongs in the large new shower stalls or if you use a bathtub. My shower stall was put in in 1988 and it is small.
