Review: There is no metronome! - In the description say's there is a metronome in this series unfortunately not, but apart from metronome all is working well and good.
Review: very accurate tuner - I practice on two instruments, violin and guitar, and I accumulated many tuners over the years. This one, specific for violin, is one of the finest. The only caveat is, make sure it stays in your violin case at all times. Otherwise what happened in my case may happen to you: I was doing some tidying up in the room and the tuner just disappeared. So now I have to order it again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this tuner work on ukulele?**
A: No. The throat doesn't open far enough.  The product literature say the throat only opens to 1.58 inches or 4 cm. I was able to increase it to 1.75 inches by removing the little rubber pads which made it just large enough for my viola. So unless you have a really skinny uke, this will not fit. I would think a tuner that clamps on to your peghead would work just fine.

**Q: How doe it compare to the small Snark in terms of accuracy and response time?**
A: just as good if not better...made specifically to fit on your violin... the snark doesn"t

**Q: Will this tuner be appropriate for my 10 year old grandson who is just learning to play the violin?**
A: Yes, my son started using it when he started playing violin after @5 private lessons and 1/2 year of weekly lessons from school.  But, the device is not difficult to use and really requires no prior violin knowledge.  He should be able to follow the directions on it.

**Q: Can this adjust to 32mm and 35mm for Lyre harps?**
A: Sorry, I have no knowledge of lyre harps. This ratchet only goes so far and I really this it is not as stable as the IntelliTouch. It just looks cool.

Bought it for my daughter (she does not have a “smart phone” with a tuner). Easy to install and use. Having the tuner in line of sight with the tuning pegs is worth it. The way it attaches to the violin is better than any other tuner. In fact, I looked (and found this one) after reading reviews for guitar tuners (people attach them to the pegs; most other tuners have clips too narrow for violin scrolls)
