We are open M-F 8-4:15 CT. **Q: I love my pressure cooker for the last 4 years, they are great, I have been apprehensive about the black water color when I am washing it.** A: I have the 8 qt Presto aluminum pressure cooker-love it, a recent purchase. I wonder if that happens because of the aluminum. I used it once for a potato ragu with sirloin beef: yum!! Hadn't cooked that in a couple of years.Where I'm from people love Magnalite aluminum pots. Except for my Presto, I don't use aluminum pots because of acidic foods like spaghetti sauce that could leach out the aluminum. Will probably get the Presto 6 qt stainless pressure cooker next. **Q: Any real difference between the stainless and Aluminum? Other than metal. My mother lived to be 97 years and most of her pans were aluminum.** A: So, I'm totally confused... The product name says "Presto 01282 8-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker", but the "From the Manufacturer" says it is 6-quart and Stainless Steel. So what am I buying here? I want an aluminum, 8-Quart pressure cooker - is this it? ## Frequently Bought Together - Presto 01282 8-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker - 09924 Pressure Canner Sealing Ring - & Overpressure Plug for Presto 0128206 0128202 0128203 0128204 0128303 0126306 6 & 8 Quart Pressure Cooker - 2 Pack - Presto 01264 6-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker, Silver --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/270243464-presto-01282-8-quart-aluminum-pressure-cooker](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/270243464-presto-01282-8-quart-aluminum-pressure-cooker) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
