Review: Strong and adjustable - tldr: Really very good if you want an ajustable stool. No cushioning but it's still pretty comfortable. I got this for my MIL's house. She has anatomically shaped, gas strutted stools that fit her and the kids, not me. I'm 6'5" (approx 195 cm). Since most conversations happen around a large central island in her kitchen I bought this for Christmas. Over several days I spent many hours perched on it chatting and very glad I'd bought it. It easily spins to the correct height and doesnt change from there as you use it. It's certainly strong enough to confidently hold me up stably and I'm a big lad. If this is what you want, it's good value and nice and sturdy. Recommended.

This makes an excellent workshop stool, it's very sturdy and good height range. The only thing I have done is rounded the edges of the wooden seat with a router to make it more comfortable. The edges were quite sharp otherwise.
