Dimethicones come in many different sizes or molecular weights. The ones that buildup on hair are the extremely large dimethicones which we avoid. The light dimethicones detangle and add shine with minimal weight and no buildup. It will wash off with your next shampoo. We do not use any silicones in our shampoo.
