**Q: Does the Boss drafting stool (B16245-BK) meet the CAL Bulletin #117/ Class 1 flammability rating?**
A: I can't answer that never crossed my mind to find out, it's a great stool I can't imagine it catching fire from any source other than if my office or the building I'm in catches fire, I don't have any flammable items around and I don't smoke and truthfully i wouldn't concern my self if I were you about it catching fire.

**Q: how tall is the actual seat not including the back?  i need a stool at least 34 inches high.**
A: Hi, Measuring from the floor to the top part of the seat you sit on, the chair's lowest setting it is 29-inches and at it's highest setting it is 35-inches. Hope this helps.
