We ended up buying another complete set, both so we could serve up to 12, and also to have liner plates for the soup bowls. Love the china though. (Also, if you buy extra, make sure you're buying the bone china. The first extra set we ordered turned out to be porcelain. Nice, but not as nice as the bone, and not a perfect color match (same pattern, though).
