Easy to assemble and works as it should

It assembled and stays firm in the shed I am building to hold 6 adult bikes ( 2 mountain, 2 road and 2 hybrids) but it was quite tight and the bikes but each other so I added a piece of 2x4 between the studs with another hook at one end of the bike rack to be able to spread the bikes out a bit further so they hang freely without hitting each other. The large size of the hooks allow you to twist the other bikes to the side to get access to the particular bike(s) you want to use. I also installed one bracket slightly lower than the 3 others for the 2 shortest bikes I have to help offset the bikes to fit better. Fyi, My shed is 12 feet wide and 67" deep minus the width of the 2x4 and plywood framed walls so the bikes fit upright against the back wall with sufficient room to walk between them and the front wall and maneuver them.

This seems to be nice and sturdy. Right now I have four bikes hanging on them and no issues yet.The reason for the four stars is that it didn't come with enough hardware. I had to purchase additional screws and anchors.

We had high hopes for this bike storage rack, envisioning a neat and space-efficient solution for our bikes. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a mismatch for our specific needs and space, leading us to return the product.Initially, the installation posed its first challenge. Our concrete walls required us to purchase additional hardware, which was an unexpected hassle. Once set up, the rack didn't quite live up to our expectations in terms of space-saving. Contrary to what we had hoped, it seemed like we would end up shuffling the bikes around more than we liked.Moreover, the bikes didn't feel entirely secure on the rack. This lack of stability was a significant concern for us, given the value and importance of our bikes.While this rack might suit someone else's space and needs better, it just wasn't the right fit for us. It's a reminder that what works in theory doesn't always pan out in practice, especially when it comes to storage solutions.

I had originally created a DIY to hold a number of bikes, but it fell off the wall after a year. This product was really good and only took about :30 minutes to put up. I had 6 bikes and it was easy to manipulate it. Also, It allowed for the proper counterbalance off the walls so the bikes don't fall on each other. The secondary, shorter hooks are great for helmets, but honestly, when you have lots of bikes next to each other, they are hard to get to.

This product was described like it would be simple, but was not the case. I am no carpenter but handy enough to install a bike rack. Though the product is set to fit stubs every 16" it was not the case. I admit I have studs running12" - 16" and this product was drilled with multiple holes...thinking at least two sets would align to mount onto the wall. Even with Drywall Anchors installed the rack would not hold the weight of the bike and began stripping the Anchor & Screw out of the Drywall. For that I cannot use this product and now plastering my wall instead of hanging my bikes. If you do decide to purchase this item, hopefully you'll have better luck.

This frees up a lot of space in our garage. The kids do have trouble getting the bikes down. An adult has to help.
