**Q: Could this shaver be also used to shave thin slices of parmesan?**
A: Yes, I believe it could be used for hard cheese. I use mine for slicing garlic. It works perfectly.

**Q: Is the blade scalloped or straight?**
A: Straight blade. This is a great tool

**Q: Can I use to shave chocolate.**
A: I haven't tried it on chocolate yet, but I would imagine that it would work well, so long as the chocolate is good and hard.  I use it primarily for garlic and shallots.  This is honestly one of my favorite kitchen tools.

**Q: Can someone measure theirs?  Height/length, width, thickness of handle?  Product info ambiguous.**
A: length-8.5inches (Including handle), width 3 3/8 inches ,
handle is 1 1/4 inches wide.
