False advertising
For the price, this was a total rip off! This in no way was a "large" venus flytrap as described in the seller's ad. In fact it is smaller and less healthy than the plant I bought a month ago at a Safeway grocery store for $7.95! Also, the ad says it comes with directions - there are no directions. Just a stamp on the cardboard box referring to their web site for planting or care instructions. I don't trust these people and will never order a thing from them again. Defrauding the public is a crime!

Very healthy, thriving VFT
I have several venus fly traps; some are healthier and more vigorous than others. This "Dutch Delight" is the healthiest, most vigorous plant in my collection. And it has been since the day I received it. You can buy this varietal from this grower with total confidence.

Followed all instructions… died!😞
Bought all the things suggested for growing it. Died in a few days. Looked a little rough upon arrival but I have raised these before… had high hopes. Put it in my western exposure garden window. No clue. 🤷🏼♀️

Detailed instructions? 12/23 edited
the plant has been a trooper this far but idk how qualified I am to help it out. There's a pamphlet that tells you to go to website for details instructions. Well to a complete beginner here they are far far from detailed. I mean it says "they like there feet wet but not so much the waist". What the heck does that mean exactly? Also I did not see any paper towel wrapped around anything let alone some white bulb that I also could not recognize. It comes in some sort of soil/moss but when reading the "detailed instructions" it sounds AND looks like in pics like it should only be in moss? So chuck the soil or keep it? I chucked it especially when seeing what I thought was extra soil in a packet but after feeling the heat whatever that was was throwing off I chucked that too. So right now poor guy just sitting in damp moss in a tray with about an inch of distilled water in it under grow light. Which seemed like it was good at first but I think I may turn it off because getting a little light brown now. Also there were tons of little tiny gnats or some sort of tiny insects in there. Is that normal? What are they? People should be aware of this. I've lived thru fruit fly and gnat infestations before and they are not fun or easy to get rid of. Might actually have a little PTSD from them found out today when seeing those little suckers in that cup! LbvsAnyways your instructions seem to be for experience d growers not at all for complete beginner like myself. It wouldn't be too difficult to put some better pictures up. Maybe real life ones instead of the animation drawings and little more explanation on these cool little plants.Edited 12/23. Was going to change 5 star. There should be better literature pamphlet with these plants explaining what to look for , care, soil, nutrients, cycles... like everything because I almost threw this guy out thinking it was dead only to find out later after I noticed it was making a comeback that they actually do a hibernation cycle.

Good stuff.
Well, I know it got tossed around by UPS, so I expressed a disaster. Didn’t get one. Got a beautiful plant that easily reacted to me feeding it a large ant that had found its way inside my room. I planted it on carni plant soil, and I’ll mind it’s watering. I already grow indoors, so keeping it above shouldn’t be hard. I’ve heard that people have problems keeping these fickle plants alive, and I had an issue before with a different company. Anything from here, I take the blame. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and tips, people. And use YouTube. So much solid info. Will buy again soon.

Size of plant and this was very very small
Advertised B 52 with 3 inch leaves it came with half inch and smaller. I assumed I was getting a full size plant according to the advertisement.I ordered a plant from another provider. It came in much bigger, and it was not B 52 style plant.
