The black rings are stand-alone spacers of you don't like the color.They don't come w any instructions.The blue is the left, the red is the right.The flat incendation with the company name and the tiny arrow go to the bottom of the lense. If the tiny arrow points up, they are on correctly.Getting them on was a two-handed affair since they didn't exactly conform to the exact outlined shape of the lens. Fortunately, they are soft and have a lot of give so the curves and flats are close enough to fit. Once on, they seem to stay on. Tried them out w my glasses and they stopped them from hitting anything.The best part of this package is the extras.
