Review: Muy Buena - El equipo tiene un muy buen desempeño, tal y como esperaba permite una muy cómoda portabilidad, no se calienta en absoluto y en cuanto a entretenimiento tiene muy buena definición en reproducción de videos.
Review: Its the dream netbook of my youth - My first laptop in high school was a cheap netbook and it was probably my most favorite electronic device of my youth. Ultra portable and great for note taking and browsing the web. It did have some shortcomings like pretty low tier hardware and poor graphical performance but I loved that thing and still kinda miss till this day. The MicroPC is what I always dreamed of when I was a freshmen in HS. Its awesome. Its far more graphically competent and its hardware isn't at all sluggish. It is even more portable than my netbook back then and is just a blast to use. The only downside is the keyboard is pretty cramped but so was the keyboard on that netbook way back when. Typing on it is far easier than it looks at first glance and after a small amount of time you get used to it. If you need to type anything serious like a paper, you can just connect a bluetooth or wired keyboard. The screen is definitely small but it is not too hard to read thanks to the pretty good and clear display. I don't game much but the limited amount of casual gaming I do on it runs fine and with its hardware it is far more competent than of netbook's past. If you are a parent whose kid is entering high school, I highly recommend it. If you are someone who values portable computing, I highly recommend it. Overall I highly recommend in general.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: if battery dead can i replacement?**
A: I don't know if there are spare batteries available. As I have seen in Youtube it's a little bit difficult, because you have to open the back lid in order to replace the battery. Please search Youtube for the internals of GPD Micro PC.

**Q: Does this have a touch screen?**
A: No it doesn't have a touch screen

**Q: Does it have Wifi/Bluetooth?**
A: Yes indeed, the MicroPC has both WiFi and Bluetooth, and both work out of the box. It also has an on-board ethernet adapter.

**Q: Does this support legacy mode? will it boot into dos? i have one program that is dos-only and needs the rs-232 port.**
A: Have you tried using dosbox? Many things will run on that. I'd be surprised if you could get this to boot into dos, but I bet you could get your program working either with a virtual machine or (much better) dosbox. It's a great little unit for dealing with hardware due to built-in ethernet and rs232; I can literally keep it in a pocket while climbing a tower.

### ⭐ The Battery Died Permanently in Less than 3 Months of Average Usage, No Help From Manufactuerer
*by E***Q on 20 February 2022*

I loved this computer for the 3 months it worked. It was perfect for what I needed and I couldn't have been happier. However the battery stopped taking a charge in less than 3 months. It has an internal battery that isn't accessible without taking the computer apart. The manufacturer did not provide any support outside of giving me a link for a $100+ replacement battery. The computer still ran if it was plugged in to a power source, but the utility of this device is that it is mobile. This product is defective and the manufacturer should have addressed and replaced the units it sold. I will never buy or recommend this brand to anybody. You're better off making your own mini laptop with a raspberry pi.
