I didn't check for seconds +/- but it has been less than 3 seconds +/- per day as the time to the minute is still accurate. the watch is handsome but on the plain side with a look and feel of quality construction and materials. The water proofing withstands a shower but I wouldn't go diving with it anytime soon. The band was easy to adjust for my wrist size (if you can't adjust it yourself, grow up and learn how to be a man). The Seiko 5 movement and simple styling can't be beat at under $100. My only complaints are it is hard to see the hour markers under some lighting conditions (due to the black face and silver markers lacking contrast) and the luminous markers need serious light to glow brightly (but when they glow, they can be bright as hell). Note: If you are looking for a flashy, over-sized piece of jewelry to impress your bros at the club, this is not for you. If you are looking for a well built automatic wind time piece with classic (if slightly plain) styling then this IS for you.
