Powered solely by USB ports on smart devices, these plug-and-play adapters eliminate the need for new Ethernet wiring, making them ideal for whole-home DVR setups and connected DIRECTV receivers. With a shared 200Mb/s DECA network speed and included cables, this compact dual pack offers a cost-effective, reliable solution to boost your home or office network coverage. ## Description IMPORTANT!!! THESE DECA UNITS CAN ONLY BE POWERED BY A SMART DEVICE LIKE A USB PORT OF A SMART TV, USB PORT OF A LAPTOP, USB POWER OF A ROUTER, ETC. REGULAR WALL ADAPTER LIKE FOR YOUR PHONE WILL NOT WORK. This unit can be used to run Ethernet over existing coax cable. The DECA network is a shared 200Mb/s, or the same speed as full duplex 100Mb/s Ethernet. Great for using right behind a router to pump internet over coax for a Whole Home DVR or Connected Home Setup This unit will connect to your router via an Ethernet cable, and then into an open port on one of your sws splitters to get the internet into the coaxial cable for the entire system. Installation over an existing coax cable is simple. Place the first unit near a CATV output, such as a router, which already has an internet connection. Attach the coax line, the internet source CATV, and a power supply to the first unit. At the other end of the coax line, attach the second unit, and plug it into a power supply. Within a minute or so the indicator light will stop flashing flash and stay solid indicating an established link. This second unit now offers a CATV output with internet speeds of up to 100 Mb/s. This adapter is used to bring an internet connection to SWM enabled DIRECTV receivers on a network. You wont have to run Ethernet cable throughout your home or business thanks to this small system add-on.Enjoy Pandora, PC Media Sharing and more when you bring internet to your DIRECTV receiver using this handy adapter.Key Features: The DECA network is a shared 200Mb/s, or the same speed as full duplex 100Mb/s Ethernet This unit will connect to your router via an Ethernet cable, and then into an open port on one of your sws splitters to get the internet into the coaxial cable for the entire system. Allows for an internet connected to be distributed through your existing coax cable Review: Excellent way to extend network over Coax and great value. - Worked very well to get internet to my home office. Was able to use the existing house coax run to get 100 megabit internet hookup. While this may not give you the full download speed of the faster ISPs out there, it is far more stable then a WiFi connection going through a bunch of walls. I am getting ~ 95 Megabits of throughput. Latency did go up about 4ms compared to using pure wifi/ethernet. Latency stays stable during usage which it did not with WiFi. The coax run I used is ~ 50 Feet. I would recommend this to anyone that has a remote area in their home/office to extend reliable network. For powering these, i simply plugged one into the USB port on my router, the other into a USB port on my monitor. These require a USB device to power up, not just a power brick. Review: Absolutely plug and play. - Since moving to an apartment with to-the-home fibre, we have struggled with stuttering and pixellation on our Bell Fibe 4K PVR. The original installation failed within 1/2 hour. The call-back tech installed ethernet over power adapters but again, shoddy service. Note that the fibe termination appears in our laundry room and there are 3 cement walls between there and the receiver some 15 feet away. WIFI 6.2 seems to be very line of sight - not uncommon as you increase RF - and it will not consistently make the corners involved in that short space. The problem with Ethernet over power in an apartment building is that you are not isolated from signals (intentional or other) of all the other units. My search for options led to ethernet over coax since there is coax feed to all the rooms - isolated from all other units. The price of these units is very low compared to all other brands I found while the branding suggested commercial quality. I was not disappointed - rock solid stability. I know my issue is common but the techs don't seem to try this option.Perhaps they don't like to use the idle coax as it usually provides CATV competitor service but it is "inside wiring" and belongs to the building owner, not the provider. If you are having choppy 4K transmission and can't route ethernet to your receiver, try these. You cannot go wrong - particularly at this price. ## Features - Pack of 2 - Important: These deca units can only be powered by a smart device like a usb port of a smart tv, usb port of a laptop, usb power of a router, etc. Regular wall adapter like for your phone will not work - You will receive 2 adapters, 2 USB cables and 2 Cat5 cables - Important!!!!! These can only be powered by a device like a Smart TV, laptop, WiFi router, etc. Regular wall plug for the phone won't work - Compact accessory that doesn't require additional software or settings to use. Quick, easy to use. Comes in a pack of 2 pcs. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01AYMAV1Q | | Brand | SatelliteSale | | Color | black, blue | | Colour | black, blue | | Compatible Devices | Satellite Internet providers | | Compatible Operating System Family | Windows | | Compatible devices | Satellite Internet providers | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 319 Reviews | | Data Link Protocol | Ethernet, USB | | Data Transfer Rate | 100 Megabits Per Second | | Data link protocol | Ethernet , USB | | Data transfer rate | 100 Megabits Per Second | | Hardware Interface | Ethernet, USB | | Hardware interface | Ethernet , USB | | Manufacturer | DirecTv | | Mfr Part Number | 4328735099 | | Model Number | DCAU1R0-01-2USB | | Number of Items | 2 | | UPC | 762691001574 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SatelliteSale - **Colour:** black, blue - **Compatible devices:** Satellite Internet providers - **Data link protocol:** Ethernet, USB - **Hardware interface:** Ethernet, USB ## Images ![SatelliteSale DIRECTV 2 PACK - DIRECTV Broadband DECA Ethernet to Coax Adapter - Third Generation (with 2 USB Power Cables) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FkyzF2mBS.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent way to extend network over Coax and great value. *by J***B on 7 April 2025* Worked very well to get internet to my home office. Es muy difícil tener una conexion USB de .5 amperes así que no olviden comprar los cargadores. No se desesperen pueden tardar un poco en establecer conexión con tu router pero realmente funcionan ## Frequently Bought Together - 2 Pack - DIRECTV Broadband Deca Ethernet to Coax Adapter - Third Generation (with 2 USB Power Cables) - DIRECTV Broadband Deca Ethernet to Coax Adapter - Third Generation (with AC Power Supply) - DirecTV Broadband Deca Ethernet to Coax Adapter - 3rd Generation (2 Pack) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/263498825-satellitesale-directv-2-pack-directv-broadband-deca-ethernet-to-coax](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/263498825-satellitesale-directv-2-pack-directv-broadband-deca-ethernet-to-coax) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
