I used it as my personal item, and with one other carry on bag, I was all set. No need to check luggage! Saves a lot of time in the airport.Since I've gotten back home, I started using this as a work bag so I can haul my laptop back and forth. The laptop pocket is cushy enough to protect it. I don't worry about it getting banged up in the car or on the floor at work.There are tons of pockets, and "expander" straps on the side so you can since it to be less huge looking.I love the purple color, I didn't want just any old black backpack.It's held up well to wear so far. I don't think I'll need to buy another backpack for quite a few years.Go ahead and buy this!
