I bought them because I could not find a 3-0z pouch of salmon which I eat every week to get my Omega 3.

I hated canned fish until I was forced to try it to get more naturally sourced calcium and protein. This product converted me. This product is flavoursome and not fishy like other canned fish. The size is perfect. The only problem is that it is extremely difficult to open. The handle of the peel back lid came off as I was peeling it and I must have spent half an hour trying to pry it open with a combination of a can opener and many knives and spoons. Hence the one star off.

The quality of the salmon is excellent But there is no nutritional information on the can or on the company's website. The site says you can ask questions. I asked for nutritional breakdown but received no answer. I read that another person asked the same question. and the company answered that they would send her the info privately. Why is this information private and not on can or website?

I've always loved vital choice canned salmon, but the product has changed. Some cans were delicious with the prefect amount of salt, and some cans were completely tasteless, as if there was no salt at all...but the ingredient list on all cans said salt. Somehow, some "no salt" cans got in there (which they offer on their site). Since vital choice was taken over by a corporation...sadly, it's just not the same. I hope they'll get it together because I really love this brand.
