They are now 2 years old with excellent teeth and gums! We tried the adult toothpaste when they turned one year old, but they did not like the chicken flavor. They absolutely love the peanut butter flavor, and the baking soda really helps with their breath. Every time that I take them to the vet, they are very happy with their teeth and gum condition. The last visit, the vet scored both dogs’ teeth and gums and gave our female a score of 0.2 out of 4, with 1 being the best and 4 the worst, and gave our male a 0.3 out of 4. I usually brush their teeth every 2-3 days. Arm & Hammer is a name that I have grown up with, and I have learned to trust their products over the years. This toothpaste is no exception. Pros: The Enzymes break down the tarter, which keeps their teeth clean and gums healthy. The baking soda helps with cleaning and also keeps their breath fresh. I consistently receive positive feedback from my vets for both dogs’ oral care. The peanut butter taste is well received by both dogs. It is cost effective.
