I went with the large. If I were to order these again, I do the same again. **Q: Can these be used over a pair of outdoor fleece gloves in order to provide traction and grip with the palms?** A: I would think no. The finger holes are supposed to be snug. I think you'd be better off with gloves that are nonfleece but able to grip, like weightlifting gloves, "mechanics gloves" (Home Depot) or something like driving gloves. **Q: If my hand is 4.25 what size should I buy?
