Review: Sonicake pedals are the best value going - I bought the Sonic Ambience pedal because I wanted a digital reverb pedal because the spring reverb circuit in my Peavey Envoy 110 was picking up a buzz from the computer it sits next to in my office. Since I have been very impressed with my previous Sonicake purchases I always come to them first when I want to try something new, and they continue to help me dial in my perfect sound. The pedal arrives brilliantly packaged. The box is just the right size to hold the pedal, a couple of business card sized instruction sheets, a perfectly die cut 3M Velcro strip for attaching to your pedal board, (remove the rubber backing on the pedal first, and clean the bottom off or it doesn't stay stuck) and a foam insert that protects everything in transit. These pedals are compact but not so compact as to be un-usable which lets me add more of them to my compact pedalboard set-up and I just can't be happier with these products. The Sonic Ambience Pedal is advertised as a true bypass, as are all the Sonicake pedals, and in my testing that is true. There is no signal loss or alteration in tone when the pedals are switched off. These pedals don't have space for a battery so you will need a 9 volt, center negative power supply (not included). I am mounting them to a powered pedal board set-up so I've got that covered, but it is worth mentioning. I have this pedal at the end of my signal chain. On the Reverb side I currently have the reverb set at "C", and the mix set at 12:00. On the Delay side I have the delay set at "A", the time set at 12:00, the repeat set at about 10:45, and the blend set at 1:00. This gives me a church type reverb with just a warm touch of echo. There are a ton more audio options in this pedal outside of what I have listed here, (Room, Hall, and Plate Reverb as well as other delay options) This is just the sound that reaches out to me right this minute. The best part about this pedal is that it gives me reverb and delay in one pedal which will probably let me take my stand alone delay pedal off the board opening up a slot for something else, now my only problem is what to put in that spot. The sturdy construction of these pedals will more than stand up to my use. I am a home guitarist and dabbling bass player and don't make my living at it, so I can not speak to it's durability in that kind of environment, but I would think that if you don't abuse your gear it should be fine. This is now my fifth Sonicake pedal, all of them are still going strong and I am still happy with the choices I made. I am 100% certain that I will be looking to Sonicake again when I decide what I want next If you are on the fence about ordering this pedal, just do it, you can't go wrong. Play it loud!!
Review: I would give this pedal 4.5/5 stars. Here’s why... - I’ve been looking for a reverb/delay combo pedal that’s no over $100 and this is just what I needed. It saves pedalboard space and now I only have one switch to press for my ambient sounds. CONS: The adhesive for the Velcro that came with it is pretty much worthless and when I tried to remove the pedal from my board the Velcro came off. Even tried adding gorilla glue to the Velcro and rubber pad but it still came off. Essentially I just had to remove the rubber too and stick my own Velcro on the metal back plate. The reverb is very sensitive and if turned up to almost half way, it will lower your volume quite a bit, especially with Hall and Chamber settings. PROS: Nice soft switch, so no clicking noise! It doesn’t require a lot of mA so if you need to daisy chain your pedals it doesn’t eat up a lot of you power like a lot of digital reverb and delays do. Tap Tempo is a very nice feature to have for such a low budget device. All of the delay settings sound great! CONCLUSION: I’m giving it 5 stars but in reality I would give it 4.5 stars only because of the reverb volume loss. Overall this is exactly the combo delay/reverb pedal I was looking for, with one switch to control both and the compact size, soft switch, and tap tempo are all bonuses!! I love it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used to switch between two different instruments into a single amplifier?**
A: No, not for the Fuzz. The problem is, the questions are for the entire product line. Why can’t Amazon get the questions and reviews separated by items in a company’s product line?
I’m looking at the fuzz pedal and seeing reviews of Looping pedals. And this person is asking if an item with 1 in and 1 out and select between 2 items?
Sorry, just judging

**Q: Does the 1/4” out double as headphone output?**
A: Not really. Connect it to a mixer and use headphones from the mixe

**Q: Is there an audible popping sound when the switch is engaged?**
A: No. Being true bypass, keeps a clean signal path.

**Q: How is the Sonic Ambience different from the Sonicake levitate delay?**
A: Not sure what the levitate delay is. I haven’t heard of that pedal. This is a combination delay and reverb pedal. It is a mid-quality reverb and a good delay for the price. It’s not going to replace something like a hall of fame or flashback but it does both jobs at half the price.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effects OK But....g Value. Good Sound
*by J***. on October 6, 2025*

.This is well built and had good value for the price point. I play in a band so I'm a little more picky. The reverb and delay just did not produce the sound I was looking. It's a fine pedal. Just not for me. Might be right for you
