## Questions & Answers

**Q: I appreciate its biodegradable... but what about the large plastic casing?**
A: Can't really recommend this product as for the first few weeks it seems to overdo the froth and colour, producing great gobs of purple goo on each flush. It does nothing to remove any existing limescale and instead stains it purple so the toilet looks worse than ever. After the first few weeks it suddenly stopped working, but a shake of it brought it back to life and oh joy it started staining the loo again. I removed it and threw it away at this point, even though it appeared to have a fair bit of life left. The second one in the pack will never get used.

**Q: Is this good for hard water will it help with black stuff round rim**
A: Yes

**Q: There is a small label that says Do not open on the top of the unit, should thst be removed?**
A: No! 
Do not remove.

**Q: Are you supposed to remove the small sticker on the top?**
A: Don't remove anything other than the plastic packaging on this item. Take it out of the packaging, open your cistern tank, drop it in. It's as easy as that. A couple of flushes later and the water will be blue(or whichever colour you bought) job done.

I bought 2packs for use at home, I’ve 3 toilets so put 1 in each on the same day; how is it that one turned the water dark purple by the next day, one turned the water a murky lilac and the other did absolutely nothing.2 months down the line and the one that actually did something (turning the water purple) runs out so I go to replace it as I have 1 remaining. Firstly plunging your hand into freezing cold murky water isn’t ideal (prior to buying I knew that I would have to retrieve the glass container but I didn’t know the water would still be a little discoloured when fishing around the cistern to find it; the worst kind of treasure hunt!!!) once I retrieved it I realised the remnants of the dye is now leeching all over my hand; wonderful! I put the replacement in and have waited a week for nothing to happen, no change in the water colour. I plunge my hand back into the murky bog water to retrieve the new one to find it’s done nothing, zilch, nada, except get covered in murky slime (see photos).In total I bought 4 cistern blocks (2x 2pack) and only 1 of the 4 worked, the other 3 haven’t dispersed the toilet cleaner at all just grown a hideous layer of sludge which just makes the retrieval process even more grim.I wanted to love this product but unfortunately it’s a massive waste of time and money.

Great idea and seemingly long lasting however after about 2 months - the colour started to really disappear, i thought that was it and it had run out however when retrieving it i found there was still tons of goo in it and it just apparently needed shaking. However a few days later same thing happened. So whilst they are good they get a point where they still have plenty of use but you cant really just leave it so becomes a bit bothersome and is no real difference to then just having standard loo blocks at that point which is a bit frustrating.
