But then I put the battery in it and completely changed my mind about this radio. The sound was great. I was amazed as how loud it played with out distortion. I would buy another one if this one goes out. Would give it a 5 star rating. But the batteries are only good for 10 hours or so. But works great with my solar power system as the charger. Although the micro MP3 adapter doesn't seem to work on mine, the USB flash drive socket works just fine.
