Launches great, not noisy, dog got acclimated to it quickly. However, after about a weeks worth of use it began to "slow down" and not function after about six launches...the motor became audibly slower and would then stop, leaving the ball stuck inside the machine. This scenario now repeats itself every time I use the machine, regardless of the power setting or whether it's operating on batteries or AC power.
