I combine it with shea and mango butter, and it gives the finished body butter a rich, creamy texture that feels incredibly moisturizing, especially on areas that tend to get extra dry. The cocoa butter comes as a solid block, so I melt down what I need before mixing and whipping everything together. It does take a little more effort than using a regular lotion, but for DIY skincare, that’s exactly what I expected. I also love the natural cocoa scent. It’s noticeable without needing to add fragrance, and my skin feels soft and moisturized after using the finished body butter.
