It does not have a loop on the end which, if you are working with a 1200-pound horse, is a safety feature. However the end is extra think (doubled fabric)? so makes it easier to know when you are getting to the end of the lead whether you are lunging a horse or letting your pup get his zoomies out.This is obviously probably overkill for my application (a 5-month-old 30-pound puppy).
