Casio Pro Trek PRW-2500-1ER for Him

Bought this a few years ago now, so there are probably better ones available. But at the time it was a great watch, loads of useful features (compass, altimeter, barometer, temperature, tides times, moon phases etc - oh, and it tells the time has alarms, world times etc) - it charges well, have never had a problem (basically it charges if it even vaguely sees the sunlight - it also shuts down if you don't wear it for a while (to further save battery)). It's great, I love it and still use it.

I bought this watch 3 years ago. (just checked on my order history and I ordered it 11/02/2014After 3 years of almost never taking it off it still works perfectly. I have never had to adjust the time because it it has always self adjusted automatically and have never had to change the battery because it is solar powered. I haven't had to do anything special to keep it powered up, it collects enough energy from just normal wear.The only time I have ever taken it off is for kickboxing practice and to clean it. Other than that I have pretty much worn it 24/7.It has to be the most reliable electronic device I have ever owned.

A good all rounder I purchased this watch in 20.13 and its not let me down yet. It was and is worth the price this purchase as a replacement for a casio watch that I purchased in 2011 and this one has auto time and date settings and its a god send that its sola powered it not let me down in 4 years yes I would recommend buying this watch I've a fan of casio for years. 7 years on and just discovered that I need to charge the battery it's the first time in 7 years that I've had a dead battery I'll update this review in a few days

This watch has the best mix of features without costing the earth. Features like altimeter, barometer, digital compass, temperature, moon phase and tidal rises all make the watch a great explores watch which uses solar to power up the battery. It has a good back light and the watch is very durable, very comfortable can't find any alternative watch which has any where near the same features without paying double the money or having to replace a battery every 3 months. Just which Casio included GPS!

Watch arrived on promised day.Just opening up the box you soon realise you have something Special.This is the best Casio watch I have ever brought (been collecting/wearing for over 30 years, have nearly 30 watches - mostly G-Shock).This watch is so well designed from the bracelet to the function buttons. So many functions that I'm still trying to workout how to use them all

I like this watch - however one major flaw - if you need reading glasses at all you won't be able to red the information. Which is a real shame as it's a fantastic watch for the money (if you've got your glasses on).

Watch arrived 3 days before schedule and is just as described and is perfect for my needs. Good company.

I love Casio watches and this one is packed with features. It's a big watch but is comfortable to wear. It's hard to think of anything else you'd need in a watch.

The watch arrived before the estimated delivery date, which was a nice surprise. My husband fell in love with it from first sight. All readings are accurate, even the thermometer. The functions are easier to set than what you might think. In short, this watch is the perfect accessory for fishing enthusiasts. I give it 5 stars without any hesitation.

Bought it for my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves it from the first moment. It was a bit difficult for him to set it up properly (it can be hard if you don't read any instructions:-) ) but now 2 other of his colleagues have the same watch. Are men not the same as women?

Love it, always on my wrist, except when i need to charge it up under a lamp.

Gründe für diesen Kauf stehen bereit im Namen dieser Uhr: Solar und Funk! Das fehlte mir noch, da ich das Vormodell der Pro Trek hatte. Nun, nach 14 Jahren, wies sie doch sehr viele Gebrauchsspuren auf. Als dann noch die Barometermessung ausfiel war klar geworden: die Casio Pro Trek Funk Solar Herren Uhr PRW-2500-1ER muss her!Die Funktionen sind fast gleich, aber man merkt schon, dass die Funktionen etwas mehr und besser wurden, die Gezeiten- und die Mondanzeige sind neu, Wasserfestigkeit, Luftdruck, Höhenmesser, Temperatur und Kompass sind geblieben, der Verstellring für die Himmelsrichtungen ist a. neu und b. hilfreich.Da alle Funktionen den örtlichen Gegebenheiten angepasst werden können ist diese Uhr für viele Hobby's im Außeneinsatz als schnelle Information gut geeignet, z. B. Segeln oder Wandern.

A mi me encanta este reloj la verdad. Materiales de primera. Se ve y se siente en mi opinion robusto. Por ponerle un "pero" me harte de ver reviews del modelo por youtube y creia que el display era algo mas grande y al recibirlo me parecio un poco pequeño pero despues de darle bastante uso me he acostumbrado y la verdad que estoy encantado. Al principio me mosqueo un poco que el nivel de la bateria duraba muy poco en nivel alto pero despues de leer las instrucciones y ponerlo en la ventana todo un dia al sol, se cargo a tope y recibió radiofrecuencia el sólo en automatico y va perfecto. Ademas desde esa carga inicial a veces se ha quedado en el cajon de la mesilla hasta mi siguiente salida y con el modo ahorro de energia es un autentico mechero. En este modo apaga toda la pantalla cuando detecta que lleva mucho tiempo sin movimiento pero internamente el reloj sigue funcionando y al cogerlo o tocarle algun boton enciende la pantalla y despues de 7 dias guardado la bateria sigue en nivel alto de carga. Lo dicho una pasada a mi parecer. CASIO es sinonimo de calidad para estas cosas a mi parecer. El vendedor un 10. El producto otro 10. Repetiria producto y vendedor sin dudarlo.
