These water residue cleaners for water distiller are perfect for absorbing nasty odor and taste anywhere.Guidelines for using these filters:1. Rinse the charcoal filter sachets in distilled water to remove any existing carbon dust from new pack and enhance absorption.2. Insert the filter into the funnel and start the water distiller. For best use, change the filter once a month. THESE FILTERS ARE NOT MADE BY MEGAHOME Review: PROFESSIONALISMS IS 2nd TO NONE - I purchased these charcoal to use in my Megahome Water Distiller. The sachets themselves are strong/well made. However they are 1 and a 1/2 bigger than the original packets that you receive when you order the distiller. So they are too tight of a fit in every which angle you trie to put them in. “IT GETS BETTER PLEASE KEEP READING”. As it is a struggle in getting them to fit all the way down in the glassy container. It is all the way to the top. And for me this was a concern in having the water drips over rather than down. Here is the GREAT PART. Why I said this company’s professionalism is 2nd to none. Is that I contact them and explained the issue and that it would be great if they were to down size their packets to the size that the distiller came with. This company “ Mr. John” went over and beyond and did just what I requested. Also when I told him I had uses for the previous orders he allowed me to keep them, and sent me my new order free of charged which I received in a couple days. So yes I will order again but directly from the company. Or from desertcart if Mr. John decides to make a smaller packets. So l give them a shooting 💫 🌠 🌟 ⭐️ 💫 Review: Highly Recommended! Well worth the $s spent. - Am still using the 1st bag. They are well-made with lots of activated charcoal. I have used in the Still for Distilled Water (also purchased via desertcart) maybe a handful of times and it is showing no wear. So this packet of charcoal filters should last a long time. It was well worth the money spent on both the Still and these charcoal filters. ## Features - PREMIUM QUALITY - Great for Megahome and many other Countertop Distillers. And for the future you MUST rinse ALL charcoal filter until the water runs clear before using. **Q: What are the dimensions of the individual filter bags? The dimensions given are for the overall shipping package.** A: They are approximately 3" by 2". They are not very large. I've had them for a while now and they do work nicely in my particular water distiller. **Q: How long does one bag last until i replace it with another?** A: Making 1 gallon of distilled water a day I replace it once a month. This is on the safer side, you can probably go a month and a half if you want to. **Q: what are the dimensions of this item (each)** A: Each Sachet is 2" X 2.5". They have more activated charcoal than other sachets made for the same purpose but still fit into the slot for the water distiller. This makes it work better and longer. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PROFESSIONALISMS IS 2nd TO NONE *by J***T on 23 May 2019* I purchased these charcoal to use in my Megahome Water Distiller. Well worth the $s spent. *by K***E on 19 August 2024* Am still using the 1st bag. They are well-made with lots of activated charcoal. It was well worth the money spent on both the Still and these charcoal filters. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits Megahome *by L***L on 11 August 2019* I read the reviews saying these filters were too big for Megahome distiller. I agree they are quite large and difficult to stuff into the drip dispenser. However, I followed the instructions to rinse the charcoal first and it also made it easier to work with. Just insert it vertically...shove it in there. I was concerned that the tight fit would make the water build up or back up, but it didn't. It appeared to come out a little slower, but only in appearance. Works great. Tastes great. Great value. I recommend it and will buy it again when I run out. ## Frequently Bought Together - Green Piece® Activated Charcoal Water Filter Replacements - Great for Megahome and Other Countertop Water Distillers - (Pack of 12) * MADE IN USA * - Citric Acid Powder Cleaning for Water Distillers - Bulk 2 LBS Universal Descaler for Distilling Machines, Kettles & More - Remove Limescale & Mineral Buildup Fast - For Waterwise & Other Brands - Megahome Countertop Water Distiller, White, Glass Collection --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/256251138-green-piece-activated-charcoal-water-filter-replacements-great-for-megahome](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/256251138-green-piece-activated-charcoal-water-filter-replacements-great-for-megahome) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
