I do a lot of applique in my sewing and had been using Vilene Bond a Web before. I wouldn't go back to using that product as this one is far superior. the backing paper doesn't seem to come away from the adhesive sheet during storage (this always happened with bond a web and meant you wasted loads of it). Am I doing something wrong?** A: I have never had this problem although I only use this with cotton. Doubt you are doing anything wrong. You should try the heat n bond light. It probably won’t produce the waffle effect on lighter fabric. It is much cheaper and certainly easier to get. I love that this is double sided and light. And it worked great! I tried on both mulberry paper and lightweight watercolour paper.
