Also it should be noted that they hit really hard in a free air installation. Not so much in the Rockville aluminum pods I installed them in, but that's why you have a sub.

Not sure they are more powerful than my last set. Bought the DS18 amp as well, but have found massive interference with the amp, had 3 compact marine amps so far and all have one issue after another.
