The candy is all well within the good by date, and seem quite fresh. Honestly I originally bought these for my wife, because I preferred the milk chocolate trees, but after having the white chocolate around, I've got to say I've got a new favorite. They do only send the white chocolate trees, then they add in some smaller milk chocolate nut cracker Reese's. Therefore it has both types of chocolate, just in different types/shapes if candy also. Definitely worth buying in my opinion, even if you only use the nutcrackers to distract people from your 🎄 s. Instead, it is a MIXED bag of white chocolate trees and regular chocolate nutcracker. They taste stale and I'm not sure if this is because of the mixed chocolate in the bag or how they were stored or what. They aren't expired. They have a best by 08/22 date on them. I am extremely disappointed. Since Christmas, Reese's has reduced the size of its bags and raised its prices! Adding insult to injury, its new offerings are also heavier on the coating.
