However to help with any movement I put a tiny dab of denture paste where it meets the gums and absolutely helps if there's a slight bit of movement. And I'm so happy to have realized that. **Q: How long does each tooth last after you make it? I had my top front partial for 8 years, and I accidently threw it in the trash!** A: Greetings; My temp teeth (I made three) have lasted about a year, however, I don't wear them daily. So while wearing one of them perhaps just one day a week or so, they have lasted about a year. But I would guess, that it's possible that with daily wear, and the wear and tear of putting them in and taking them out, they won't last that long. The kit however, does allow a person to make more than one. Also, one cannot eat (at least I couldn't and they don't recommend it) with the Temp in. It should be removed for eating, drinking etc. which is a little inconvenient. But otherwise for the price, I find it a pretty good replacement for a lost tooth.
