I bought this and another timer for my kids to use to time homework activities. This timer is much easier to use and they've had no frustrations with it. There are two reset buttons on the side and it is easy to grip the timer to set the time. Sometimes they accidentally change seconds instead of minutes but that is just a matter of getting use to the dial. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Failed rotary mechanism *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2015* For a lightly used timer that's less than 1.5 years old, super disappointing to have it fail - it's not cheap either! The rotary dial mechanism started to fail about a year after use - the numbers jump several minutes per click, e.g. 1 to 13, instead of one minute per click. Really disappointing, especially as I like the rotary dial vs. a number pad. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars well built, but there's one major problem *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2014* This timer works accurately. The dial makes it easy to adjust the time.however, the reset buttons on the side have a _major_ functionality problem. They reset the timer _even when_ the timer is currently counting down. Pick up the timer to look at it, or move it out of the way without keeping your fingers off the buttons, which are on the sides, and bam, your countdown goes away. If you remember what the time is, you can go ahead and set up the countdown again easily, but man what a pain.If they made it so the reset buttons ONLY worked when the countdown was not running, this would be 5 out of 5.
