After some experimenting, my go-to method is: pour a small pool of olive oil in the bottom then add the generous 1/3 cup popcorn seeds and stir to coat. I then sprinkle and stir in healthy Himalayan salt to my taste. I have a 1000 W microwave and punch in 4 minutes and stop when I can hear only a few pops (generally 1:25 to 1:40 minutes remain of the 4 minutes) Absolutely perfect, delicious popcorn every single time! **Q: Easy to wash?** A: Very easy to wash. **Q: is material used safe.** A: The material is silicon which we have in several kitchen tools. It came in a bag direct from China, it has no "logo" on it, and came with no paperwork or recipes. Fake??** A: Sounds fake to me! The orange bowl should have a small logo on the side. Mine came in a box, no recipes really, just ideas for adding seasonings to the bowl before popping - which really turns out to be delicious!
