Any residue can be cleanly removed on the surface with a razor blade. Whether or not it can be felt depends on the gap width. The number of cracks does not matter, but the type of crack does, and that was not described. **Q: Can this be used instead of grout for ceramic tile installed outdoors, under a roof but exposed to weather, in Florida. Is it totally clear?** A: Technically you could but it would not hold up very well. This type of caulk isnt fond of direct sunlight or really cold temps.
