Wood has small little splinters as well. DONT buy. Review: These are Organic! - This bamboo board set was recommended as an alternative to plastic cutting boards, in order to cut down on ingested microplastics. Since I predominantly eat plant based, so I’m doing a lot of chopping, this is a priority. The boards are nice and hefty, were shipped without damage, and the sizes are very convenient! I love the “moat” around the edges, and the lifetime warranty! These boards are organic- free of dyes, stains, and plastic coatings that my previous compressed board had. This is a win win! ## Features - EXTRA DURABLE - We use rare Vertical Grain construction, unlike our competitors, giving you heavy-duty wooden cutting boards for kitchen that can withstand heavy daily abuse and are resistant to cracking, warping and splitting - EXTRA CONFIDENT - Our industry best, hassle-free, Lifetime Replacement Guarantee, means there is no risk for your wooden cutting board. Hope this helps! **Q: How to clean and care for these cutting boards?** A: Hi thanks for your question! To clean, simple hand wash after each use (try not to let boards completely submerge under water) and let air dry. NEVER run these through the dishwasher. To care for these you'll want to occasionally treat with our walnut conditioning oil which helps prevent splitting and cracking. Hope this helps! **Q: Do these contain urea-formaldehyde glue** A: Hi Susan thanks for your question! These cutting boards along with all other cutting boards we manufacture are made formaldehyde free! Hope this helps! **Q: How thick are each of these cutting boards? Trying to get ones which easily fit my drying rack** A: They measure 5/8 inch. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Horrible *by A***N on 22 June 2021* Looks NOtHING like the pictures.
