Went to give mine to my son for his camping gear and found it rusted inside and the rust was also on the blades and other tools. It is marked on the outside as "stainless steel" guess not all the metal is! Throw it away and buy another, but NOT a Sheffield this time. Mine was about 1 year old. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good bang for the buck *by C***R on May 29, 2010* I bought this as a cheap backup set to keep in my pack all the time so I don't have to worry about leaving my everyday knife at home. When I bought it, it was also $9 and an easy way to get over the free shipping threshold on my order. At the time of this review Amazon has this product under 2 different listings, one for $8.58 + free shipping and one for $19.99 w/o shipping, so try searching by the model number to make sure you are getting a good deal before buying.The good:-Pliers on the multitool line up perfectly like they should, unlike other alternatives. Pliers are spring-loaded-All the knives are decently sharp-Small folding knife also has a serrated blade-Multitool seems pretty sturdy.-Folding knife has an led light. Mine was red, not very bright but who knows may come in handy one day-Mine included a pouch for the multitool with a belt loop.The bad:-The multitool is a little stiff to open up, could use some lubricant-Because of how the button is on the folding knife, the battery for the light will probably drain quickly if you toss it in a bag-The pouch was frayed when I got it.To sum up, I wasn't expecting much for what I paid, and this combo exceeded my low expectations. I would definitely just aim for a real Leatherman if you are looking for something to use everyday, but those cost quite a bit more and this set makes a nice inexpensive backup to have around for when you will occasionally need it.
