Better than hoofflex thrush remedy and doesnt sting! *by J***R on October 3, 2016* This stuff works as it should! For mild-moderate thrush in the sulci and sole. I also find that it doesnt sting the sensitive horses like thrush buster does. I have one who flinches if I use thrush buster do I tried hoofflex. She didnt flinch at it but it did not work as well as Outlaw.I only have to use outlaw every other day or after a hard rain, where as hoofflex I would have to use daily to combat the rains.My only advice for improvement would be to make it a bit thicker (I have no clue how) so it would "stick" a little better. Usually I just hold the horses hoof upside down for several seconds to let it seep in before letting gravity seep it out. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Slowly beating thrush *by S***E on May 6, 2019* I’m told bleach does very well, peroxide, iodine as well at fighting thrush. I’ve used this product and it’s not clear to me if it’s any better than the aforementioned. It does however seem to have been making a difference in the hooves, slowly, gradually seeing a difference in the hooves of our horse “Goldie”, they seem they are hardening in the areas which were once softer, she’s been fighting thrush for some time now... Doesn't seem to stain as bad, but it's literally the consistency of water.
