Although they may cut some thinner ones. They are great for paper and light craft projects. I use them for decorative cuts with my nail stickers. I actually really love them! **Q: Are these good quality?** A: I think they are okay. We bought them for gifts for our niece and nephew. **Q: Would a left handed preschool be able to use these?** A: I have no idea as my granddaughter uses her right hand. But looking at the scissors I don't see why they would not work for a left handed person.
