However, if you're conscious of your taste, and you're confident about your cooking skills, then this is the instant Miso soup for you.Personally, I like lighter tastes, and the reduced sodium option seems like the correct choice. I also bought a box of Miso paste just in case it's too light, I can add a spoonful of miso paste and it'll taste just right. BTW the miso paste usually lasts a long time, so it's totally worth it.This product has no instructions in English, the whole thing is Japanese, with a English ingredients/nutrients sticker on it for legal reasons. I learned a little bit of Hiragana, and I thought people might want to know which is which:（汁 means soup）わかめ: Seaweed, 10 servings;とうふ: Tofu, 5 servings;長ねぎ: Green Onion as stated in the description, or scallions, 10 servings;油あげ: Fried Bean Curd as stated in the description, or fried tofu, 5 servings.There is also a bunch of smaller packages at the bottom of the bag, that has みそ written on them. Those contain the miso.(This is one of the times I'm like "thank god I learned Japanese")You would choose which flavor you want, put the contents of the packet in a bowl, and put a miso packet in that bowl as well. Add hot water and voila.As for taste, well it's slightly diluted miso soup. And it's kinda impossible to mess up miso soup... like it's literally miso and water.Also, the miso is a paste, not powder. You get 30 packs with different dried spinach or onions or whatever When you open it into a bowl it will look like nothing is there. Then there are also 30 packets (smaller packets) that has the soup base paste. You add that to the dried stuff. I used 10 oz of water as I used the hot water from my Kuerig coffeemaker.Using 10 oz (a coffee cup) soup was too weak I had to double up the base and dried do dads and it was fine. So for me it is actually going to be 15 servings. But there are no calories and it is easy.
