The mouse pad now only works if the fn key is held.** A: I was ready to send this keyboard back until I read somewhere that, to save power, this keyboard goes to sleep in 30 seconds if there's no keyboard or mouse activity. When it goes to sleep, you can tap the left or right mouse button or tap the FN key to wake it up. Once you wake it up it works perfectly. **Q: Are the keys on this keyboard back-lit? Sometimes I like to stream in the dark and can't see the keys to type on the screen.** A: Nobody likes to watch movies in the dark, right? So why should any keyboard feature obviously needed backlighting? ;P **Q: does the touchpad work by tapping? or just clicking?** A: Just clicking on the two buttons right below the touchpad. **Q: Trying to pair w new macbook air. keeps asking me to press the key immediately to the right of the shift key, but there is none. how do i pair this???** A: I had trouble with this question as well. It is asking you to press the key to the *right of the *left shift key. Then it will ask you to press the key to the *left of the *right shift key. Essentially it’s looking for the leftmost and rightmost keys on the bottom row of the keyboard that are not “control keys” (a control key is shift, ALT, etc). If for some reason there is no shift key, press the leftmost or rightmost non-control key on the bottom row of the keyboard. Just remember that it’s asking you for the key to the right of the left shift key, and the key to the left of the right shift key. That’s the confusing wording. Hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Arteck 2.4G Wireless Touch TV Keyboard with Easy Media Control and Built-in Touchpad Mouse Solid Stainless Ultra Compact Full Size Keyboard -Connected Computer, Smart TV, HTPC - CZUR Rechargeable Bluetooth Keyboard with Touchpad, Portable Computer Keyboard with Trackpad, Wireless Ultra Slim Keyboard for PC/Laptop/Tablet/Phone --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/244693666-arteck-2-4g-wireless-touch-tv-keyboard-with-easy-media](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/244693666-arteck-2-4g-wireless-touch-tv-keyboard-with-easy-media) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
