Review: Good for cheap, black substrate in aquariums! - I purchased this 4 months ago to use as substrate in my 200 gallon. I was a little concerned with it being glass and my fishes digging in it. However, it doesn't bother/harm the fish at all. I had read on other reviews about it not remaining a dark/solid black so I was prepared for that and still believe it looks and works great (The blue rocks, in the pics, is my fault, their were no blue rocks in my black beauty)!!
Review: Works well - I have used this in my blaster primarily to remove rust and prepare metal for finishing for several years now. This is the second container I have bought. Cuts nicely and last long. Ships well the two I have ordered arrived on time and un damaged.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are the particle size of the grain?**
A: I don't have a micrometer to give exact but the grains are course and large. The mixture does create a fine dust so be prepared.

**Q: can this be added to interior pain to add texture?**
A: It's clean and abrasive so it would serve for a non-slip surface; however, for texture alone, it might not be suitable. It's heavy and wet it will tend to clump; I doubt it would pass through a spray gun once mixed with a heavy enamel or latex.

**Q: Will this product be good for stripping paint off of plastic as well as removing paint/rust from metal?**
A: If you don't mind the plastic being pitted real bad, it will definitely remove the paint.

**Q: I need a media to remove paint, primer, rust, etc from a sun scorched 1974 vehicle. What would you suggest?**
A: I used it to remove rust on a truck frame before painting and it worked well. Important to filter the compressor in order to keep oil out of the blasting media.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blasting media
*by M***N on December 11, 2023*

I used this in my aquarium as substrate, and it’s perfect! Like another review stated, make sure to rinse well before adding into your aquarium! I bought one box for my 60 gallon, I’ll need to purchase another one, but the first bag covered quite well
