Review: Too good to be true - This book is a great read. I really enjoyed the characters and the boardroom insights. I found the women in this book to be strong and survivors. The children were intriguing as well. The plot was enjoyable and kept me up on a work night to see the ending. I have only one regret and that is the fact that I am not a fabulous and sassy CEO with a good diet and a hot body. something tells me that plus a good heart and a great writer would make my life a bit more thrilling. In the meantime I will wait for a new Danelle Steele and a nice glass of wine.
Review: Good, but not one of Danielle Steels' best - I believe I've read just about every one of Danielle Steels' novels & books and although this is still a good read, it never left me with the desire to continue reading it and not be able to put it down. Maybe it was Marshall the main 'male' character in the book who left me sick to my stomach with his ultra male ego, or maybe it was the anger I felt toward 'the other woman' for not pulling away sooner than she did, and did we really have to bring the children that were born as a result of their inability to discontinue their relationship over a 7 year period? Regardless, I would still recommend this book, although I think Danielle Steel has lost some of the draw she had with her earlier novels which I couldn't put down until I'd finished reading them.
