I did Did my first bike event last week and it rained the entire time. Chain still kicking. As soon as I took it out of the package it started shedding paint chips everywhere (removing the red paint from the chain and leaving it silver) which was pretty annoying but doesn’t affect the chain itself. I wasn’t really picky about the color chipping off because it’s just a bike to take my daughter riding on. But if you’re particular about the color staying on, I’d buy another brand.
