A: The base block is 23 cm wide and 35cm high (base to top of knife).

**Q: What is the warranty on this knife set?**
A: Not 5 year only 1 year as one of mine broke and there customer support was there not interested only had for 14 months I wouldn’t recommend

**Q: Do these knives Cut straight, and not wonky!?**
A: The knives have a sufficient weight to allow accuracy when cutting.  Very pleased with mine.

**Q: are they dishwasher safe**
A: No. Box says:
“Do not put your knife in a dishwasher or leave it soaking in water” and
“Wash in warm /hot soapy water and dry immediately
