It heats water quickly, looks sleek, and the auto shut-off feature gives peace of mind. The build quality feels solid, and it’s easy to clean and use every day. What really stood out was the customer service—they were responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. That kind of support makes a big difference. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish kettle! Review: Love the Kettle and Being Able to Buy from a Small Biz! - I bought this kettle in Dec of 2025 and I loved it so much but after a few months, it started to leak when I would fill it over 1 Liter. I put off contacting the company cause it was passed the desertcart warranty so what are the chances they would do anything, ya know? Well I finally contacted them, just hoping they might help or direct me to a replacement kettle I could purchase and the Customer service rep Nico was so kind and just filed a complete replacement for me because they have a 1 year warranty! I am so appreciative because I just loved the first one I got. It is so easy to install and use. Take it out of the box, plug it in and remove any covering. The temperature is always piping hot and I love that it is clear glass so I can get away from heating plastics all the time. When the kettle is done, it makes a decently loud bell chime so I can walk away and it reminds me "come back! I'm ready". I would very much recommend this kettle and the company! ## Features - 1.8 L Capacity: Heats enough water for multiple servings of tea, coffee, cocoa, or oatmeal - Borosilicate Glass Body: Clear water-level viewing with stainless steel base and lid - Automatic Shutoff: Switches off after boiling; boil-dry protection stops heating when water is low - Cordless Serving: Lift from the power base for easy pouring; built-in cord storage - Easy Filling and Cleaning: One-touch lid and wide opening provide access to the kettle interior ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08F288K81 | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,853 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #6 in Electric Kettles | | Brand | MEGAWISE | | Brand Name | MEGAWISE | | Capacity | 1.8 liters | | Color | black | | Container Type | Kettle | | Country | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 4,747 Reviews | | Finish Type | Glass | | Included Components | Machine Body | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 6.22"L x 6.22"W x 9.06"H | | Item Type Name | Electric kettle | | Item Weight | 1.2 kg | | Manufacturer | MEGAWISE | | Material | Borosilicate Glass | | Material Features | Resistant to thermal shock, healthier with no plastics touching boiling water, and durable design with protective features and sustained performance | | Model Name | CX-817 | | Model Number | CX-817 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Automatic Shut-Off | | Package Information | Kettle | | Part Number | CX-817 | | Product Care Instructions | Do Not Let Water Flow into Outlet | | Recommended Uses For Product | heating or boiling water | | Special Feature | Automatic Shut-Off | | UPC | 734257528399 | | Voltage | 120 | | Wattage | 1800 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** MEGAWISE - **Capacity:** 1.8 liters - **Color:** black - **Material:** Borosilicate Glass - **Special Feature:** Automatic Shut-Off ## Images ![MEGAWISE 1.8L Electric Glass Kettle with Auto Shut-Off and Blue LED - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81DJWgAWQ4L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How long is the cord?** A: The cord extends 27 inches from the base. I have wound the cord around the inside of the base to only extend 14 inches. **Q: how do I descale it?** A: We use a water softener yet still needed to descale this about once every 6 months. Super easy to do: Add 1/4 cup white vinegar to about half kettle of water. Allow to boil and shut off. Leave for about 30 minutes then dump out and clean with dishsoap. Looks good as new afterwards. **Q: How wide is the opening at the top? My hands are very wide and it appears small in photos... otherwise perfect fit!** A: It is wide open for any hands size. It doesn't have any open problem for me at all. **Q: Bought. extremely flimsy base and wobbly to the slightest touch... and permanent condensation on inner glass. Is this normal?** A: The base I have is plastic and sturdy. My kettle sits flat and level both on and off the base. There may be a defect with your base if you are having issues with that. And yes, I have condensation on the glass after use if I leave the lid closed. I clean mine weekly with a small amount of vinegar and let it set for 30 mins. Then I rinse and leave the lid open so it can fully dry. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent kettle and outstanding customer service *by E***E on April 24, 2026* I’m very happy with this Megawise electric glass kettle. I like the blue light indicating it is on and the fact that the boiled water never touched plastic. It is easy to place it in the heating support and overall it works well. ## Frequently Bought Together - MegaWise Electric Kettle, 1.8L Borosilicate Glass Tea Kettle with LED Light, Auto Shut-Off and Boil-Dry Protection Cordless Kettle Fast Boiling - BLUE RIBBON Twinings Tea Bags Sampler Assortment Variety Pack Gift Box - 48 Count - Perfect Variety - English Breakfast, Green, Black, Herbal, Chai Tea and more - Eva's Gift Universe, Twinings Tea Bags Sampler Assortment in Wooden Tea Box Organizer Perfect Variety Pack in Wood (MDF) Gift Box (80 Count) 16 Flavors Gifts for Family Friends Coworkers (Brown) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/238323077-megawise-1-8l-electric-glass-kettle-with-auto-shut-off](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/238323077-megawise-1-8l-electric-glass-kettle-with-auto-shut-off) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
