## Overview

Cure Tooth Decay: Heal and Prevent Cavities with Nutrition, 2nd Edition, is a groundbreaking guide that reveals how to naturally remineralize and repair tooth decay through targeted dietary changes. Drawing on the pioneering research of Dr. Weston Price, this book offers a 90-95% effective nutritional protocol to reverse cavities, prevent invasive dental procedures, and improve overall oral and systemic health. Ideal for those seeking a holistic, science-backed alternative to conventional dentistry, it empowers readers to save money, avoid pain, and reclaim their dental health with practical, easy-to-follow advice.

## Description

Forget about drilling, filling, and the inevitable billing. Your teeth can heal naturally because they were never designed to decay in the first place! They were designed to remain strong and healthy for your entire life. But the false promises of conventional dentistry have led us down the wrong path, leading to invasive surgical treatments that include fillings, crowns, root canals and dental implants. Now there is a natural way to take control of your dental health by changing the food that you eat. Cure Tooth Decay is based upon the pioneering nutritional program of dentist Weston Price, former head of research at the National Dental Association. Dr. Price’s program proved to be 90-95% or more effective in remineralizing tooth cavities utilizing only nutritional improvements in the diet. Cure Tooth Decay is the result of five years of research and trial and error that started as one father’s journey to cure his daughter’s rapidly progressing tooth decay. With Cure Tooth Decay you will join the thousands of people who have learned how to remineralize teeth, eliminate tooth pain or sensitivity, avoid root canals, stop cavities -- sometimes instantaneously, regrow secondary dentin, form new tooth enamel, avoid or minimize gum loss, heal and repair tooth infections, only use dental treatments when medically necessary, save your mouth (and your pocketbook) from thousands of dollars of unneeded dental procedures, and increase your overall health and vitality. Cure Tooth Decay provides you with clear and easy to understand dental facts to help you make healthy, life-affirming choices about your dental health. It is about healing cavities without dental surgery or fluoride. Cure Tooth Decay highlights include: conventional dentistry's losing war against bacteria, why people fear the dentist and what you can do about it, the power of butter to heal teeth, the difference between healthy and unhealthy fats, specific dietary and meal plans that highlight the types of foods to eat every day to remineralize teeth, a simple cavity-healing program that is easy to follow, the cause of dental plaque and an amazing technique to reverse gum disease, safe dental filling materials, how to find a good minimally invasive dentist, how to prevent root canals, how to monitor tooth decay at home, toxic vs. non-toxic tooth cleaners, your bite: a hidden cause of cavities, understanding ideal jaw position and TMJ dysfunction, how to save your wisdom teeth, x-ray proof that cavities can heal, how to heal children's cavities and find peace, why women get cavities during pregnancy and how to stop it, and so much more. Real Testimonial Highlights: Dr. Timothy Gallagher, president of the Holistic Dental Association says, "Cure Tooth Decay is treasure-trove of wisdom as it takes the mystery out of dental health." Mike, Oregon. - “The practical advice in this book really seems to be reversing my tooth decay!!! Halleluiah, brother!!!” Pam Killeen, NY Times bestselling author. – “The protocol in this book is very effective for preventing and mineralizing cavities.” David, Idaho. - “This is a very different type of health book, written from the heart. The dietary advice put forth in this book is not only crucial for preventing tooth decay but for preserving the health of the human race.” Leroy, Utah. – “Thanks a million to Ramiel Nagel for writing this book. Unbelievable!” Willis, England. - “I am reading your book as fast as I can; it is a real jaw-dropper! Amazing!” E. Cohen, Florida. – “My teeth have actually re-enameled over the brown spots quite a bit -- I definitely have had regrowth.”

Review: A better way to save your teeth - This book actually shows you how to heal and preserve your teeth through nutrition. A wonderful side effect of following Mr. Nagel's advice is that every aspect of your health will also improve. He bases his system on the nutritional advice of two outstanding dentists: Dr. Weston A. Price and Dr. Melvin Page. Mr. Nagel has simplified these nutritional principles and gives specific advice on what to avoid, and what to eat. We have all been taught that the only way to preserve our teeth is through dentistry. Dentistry can be extremely painful, expensive, and ineffective. Most people who rely on conventional dentistry alone eventually end up with toxic fillings, caps, and/or root canals, a lot of pain, and a great deal of expense. The end result is that many of these people lose most of their natural teeth. A very different result was observed by Dr. Weston A. Price when he studied peoples who ate a traditional diet. They had neither dentists nor tooth decay. They kept all of their teeth, even in extreme old age. Mr. Nagel was faced with a terrible decision. The teeth of his very young daughter were so bad that she would require extensive dental work to save her teeth. Rather than condemn his daughter to dental torture, Mr. Nagel did his research and found another way to save her teeth. The results of his research are clearly described in this book, along with his methods for improving the health of teeth and gums. Mr. Nagel analyzes, explains, and covers every dental issue. He explains the real cause of tooth decay (it's not what you've been taught), and what you can do to stop it, and reverse it. He explains what toxins to avoid, what foods to avoid, and what foods you can eat to stop tooth decay and heal your teeth and gums. Mr. Nagel presents several different eating plans. I started with the easiest plan, and noticed an immediate improvement in the health of my teeth and gums. I've had no need to see a dentist since. This book convinced my wife to give up sugar and to eat butter from grassfed cows instead. Not only does this butter help provide the nutrition for healthy teeth and gums, it really satisfies, and greatly reduces the craving for sugar. Not only did the health of her teeth improve, but she lost two dress sizes. I particularly like how Mr. Nagel explains the hazards of modern dentistry, which uses many toxins, and the dangers of fluoride. Mr. Nagel never brings up a problem without suggesting a solution. The solutions he suggests will improve every aspect of your health. Mr. Nagel emphasizes the benefits of eating grassfed meat, a subject that is very important to me. I highly recommend this book for everyone who has teeth, and wants to keep them. Review is by Stanley A. Fishman, author of Tender Grassfed Meat: Traditional Ways to Cook Healthy Meat .
Review: I wish I read this book while I was growing up - I am very much a do-it-yourself person, and I wished I could take care of my teeth all on my own and that I never had to go to visit any dentists - now there is a hope that I can take much better care of my teeth than I suspected before. Years ago I met a woman who was about 50 years old and who had perfect teeth - she never had any dental problems and when I asked her for her secret she said throughout her life she brushed her teeth only with salt and sodium bicarbonate. It sounded pretty simple and I didn't give it much thought at a time, but if one cause of tooth decay is too much acid in saliva, then the fact that sodium bicarbonate would alkalinize the mouth and protect the teeth from decay would make sense. Putting few drops of clove essential oil, oregano oil, tea tree oil in a bit of sesame and olive oil as a base works great to kill infections and reduce pain. CoQ10 helps to strengthen the gums. The author of this book shares a nutritional protocol that would help to strengthen gums and teeth - the essence of which are common sense suggestions presented in any book on healing through nutrition, namely that we should eat food as close to their natural state as possible. This book has more specific food recommendations and even though the nutritional protocol is offered both for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, it seems that according to the author the optimal nutrition for better teeth consists of a good deal of meat and on top of it - raw meet, which may not be exactly the cup of tea of most people. The author doesn't seem sure whether vegetarian nutrition can provide sufficient nutrients, yet I can't help but think of countless people in India, for example, who are vegetarian and do have perfect teeth. The other day a friend of mine who often travelled to India mentioned that she met there a woman who was very poor and had barely enough food, but she had perfect teeth - the woman used to brush her teeth with earth and twigs from some tree (perhaps neem). The author shares several pictures of people whose nutrition was as close to nature of their region as possible and who had perfect teeth and beside them are pictures of people from the same region who fed themselves mostly with processed food that is popular in the "civilized" world. Those people had half of their teeth missing and they look more like extreme cases, nevertheless our bodies being like a chemical laboratories, with our cells constantly renewing, the body can renew itself only with the whatever we put into it and if we feed our bodies with food that has no nutritional value, no wonder that our bodies are falling apart. The author of this book doesn't claim that he has all the answers and ultimately we are encouraged to experiment, to listen to our bodies and to find out what works best for us. The book contains few recipes for making your own tooth powder and assortment of remedies for dealing with gum and tooth issues. He also provides addresses of several websites where you can find more resources. I do consider the book informative, inspiring and altogether helpful.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Book-Must Read
*by B***H on March 26, 2011*

This is a very important book for anyone to read, not just if you have tooth issues. It is a must for anyone's "health" book collection. As a chiropractor I am always looking for books that promote and explain real nutrition, actually feeding the body real food vs fake, low fat, no fat, over processed pseudo-food and are readable. This book reiterates much of how I recommend people eat. It is well written and researched. When I first looked at the book, I thought $28 for a paper back? So I decided to get it from the library to check it out first. I must say, after about the first chapter I new this book was worth every penny. The author shares commonly unknown research from dental pioneer Dr Weston Price among others, that helps to debunk so much of the nutrition myths we are fed (no pun intended)in our society. Step by step instructions on how to heal tooth infections and cavities as well as how to strengthen and re-mineralize your teeth! I don't ever remember a dentist telling me that was even possible.I felt a couple of obvious things were missing for the amount of research the author had obviously done. Then when I actually bought the book, it was the next edition and the things I felt were missing, ie, more on whole food supplements and a certain company in particular, as well as blotting, a technique developed by Dr Phillips for healing gum disease, were actually in the new edition plus so much more. I read the first edition cover to cover and have not yet read all of the second edition, but I have skimmed through and have seen many more pertinent additions. I have been making the bone broth soup, taking more of the cod liver oil and butter oil and have recently found a farm that sells grass fed/organic meats and organs as well as bones for the soup. I actually look forward to my next dental trip :) The information is really basic, eat the way nature intended. I don't agree with every single statement he has on some foods, but for the most part, he is right on. Yes, it costs more to buy organic and grass fed and high quality cod liver and X-factor butter oil, but I would much rather spend good money on good nutritious food that will help this body to heal itself and keep my teeth, then pay a few hundred dollars to have a tooth pulled or maybe several hundred to thousands for crowns, root canals etc. This book and its recommendations are worth the investment. I even bought 3 other copies for family and friends and highly recommend it to my patients.
