These filter's measure approximately 5"X5",and are laser cut to prevent fraying.There are three to a package. They are extremely durable, and will perform for a lifetime if properly cared for. Coffee-filter's have a tendency to tear, releasing plant matter into your concentrate. Cheese cloth and steel screens get clogged up over time.
