I used it for my class and they went insane over it. They loved watching/making the magic happen as the “salt” (as they called it) magically fluffed up and became something they had a blast playing with. The size was great as I did one bag for each group of 6 kids. The snow worked awesome and fluffed up nicely exactly as the directions said it would. The kids loved the texture of it, they pretty much abused it and it withstood their insanity. I’m currently drying it out so we can use it again. Love the durability of multiple uses! Overall it’s a great value and a wonderful activity that my students absolutely loved and are still talking about weeks later. Review: Great surprise. So much fun for kids! - I thought it was a little expensive for a one use item, but this was such a great surprise. We used this in the bath for younger kids (4&6) and they loved it! You can mix it with warm water and it makes a snow like material that does not melt. They played for hours. Highly recommend. ## Features - Makes approx 2.4 sq feet, one inch deep. Will it look 'soupy' inside the vases?** A: Not soupy...really feels like snow in texture, especially if you use ice water. **Q: The manufacturer website states 5lbs makes 60 gallons, why is this only 14 ounces?** A: You get enough packets to make up the number of gallons you order. **Q: Does it melt in cloud slime** A: no the snow is a great product and a price but cloud slime is touchy .... too much fail too little fail . when you get it right it is lovely . ice **Q: I am wondering if this would be ok to throw for a wedding. Does it stain clothing?** A: I dont think it would be a good choice for throwing both because it is an eye irritant and because it clumps together - quite messy imho. It also wouldn't be the most environmentally friendly thing to do seeing as it is a synthetic polymer (does not biodegrade readily). The traditional throwing of rice is economical, minimally messy, ecologically friendly, and (despite a persistent "old wives' tale") provides a healthy little treat to birds and other wildlife (NO, their stomachs will NOT explode, rice hardly expands even in boiling water and bird tummies do not boil). Plus, it sounds cool hitting the ground ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stuff! *by J***Y on January 23, 2026* Omg this was a total hit. I used it for my class and they went insane over it. It is so easy to make and is really soft to run your fingers through. It even feels cold like real snow! I have it covered when not being used and it usually last a couple of weeks. Definitely a good value and so fun. ## Frequently Bought Together - SNOWONDER Instant Snow Fake Artificial Snow, Also Great for Making Cloud Slime - Mix Makes 2 Gallons of Fake Snow - Amazon Basics All Purpose Washable School Craft Liquid Glue, Great for Making Slime, Single Pack, 1 gallon, White - Amazon Basics Slime Activator Solution 1 QT (946ml), Baking Soda, Transparent --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/236737322-snowonder-instant-snow-fake-artificial-snow-also-great-for-making](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/236737322-snowonder-instant-snow-fake-artificial-snow-also-great-for-making) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
