The can itself doesn't like to spray pointed downward so you'll need to adjust accordingly. The can states it contains enough to "cover two full-sized rifles" and this is incorrect. I do allot of painting and refinishing and I couldn't get half of a rifle out of this can (unless you aren't too particular about the quality of your coats) you'll need more than one can to do a complete job. After reading this question and seeing the shipping charge in the cart, I went to Duracoats’s site and WITH the hazmat shipping, the same kit is stil several dollars less than this sellers price. **Q: what's the difference between. tactical black and matte black ?** A: Tactical Black is matte black with an added flattening agent. It removes almost all reflective quality and makes it a true flat color. Matt black has some sheen or shine and is similar to the color most firearms come from the factory. **Q: Is tactical black a darker black then matte black finish?** A: No. Tactical Black is Matte Black with and added flattening agent to remove the reflective quality. Makes it a very flat black. If you want a very deep black color, we recommend "Slightly Darker Black" **Q: Do you need to be experienced in painting? Every time i use regular spray paint on anything, i get drips. So i suck at painting. Will this go on even?** A: If you prep and follow the directions you will be fine. The key is the prep and doing 2 or 3 very light coats and letting it flash cure for about an hour between.
