I have an xx wide foot.** A: Yes! I have an extra wide foot with high arch and short. These fit me perfectly! Comfortable, and they stretch enough that there is not pressure and my little toe is not wearing a hole in the side. I am back for my third pair. I had a size 39 they now call 7.5 which was my normal size before China. I then got a 40 which is 8. I can fit my orthotics in the 40 but I don't need it in the 39. The blue 39 looks and fits much better, so yes you can wear these. I am difficult to fit and I love these. **Q: I'm recovering from broken ankle and need non slip slippers. Do they grip on shiny tile floors?** A: I am older and got these boot/slippers because I didn't want to fall. The sole is rubber and I feel safe walking on my gloss finish wood floors. I don't have shiny tile floors. The slippers are comfortable and my heel is secure, no slipper flipping up and down on my heel. I can't walk well without these slippers and will buy them again if I wear these out. **Q: how come you don't offer size 8.5, do i order a size 9, they may be too big?** A: I normally wear an 8-1/2 so I ordered a 9 and they’re literally no bigger than the 8-1/2. If you are more a 9 1/2 probably a 10 would work. I like the faux fur lining, they feel Like they will be warm. They smell like acetone as soon as I removed the packaging, hope that goes away after a night outside. I ordered a half size larger than Amazon said and then got another size bigger too. The biggest ones barely fit, I can tell after awhile of wearing them my toe will hurt but I need them for a trip tomorrow. My shoe sizes range from 8 to 10 depending on the style so it’s always a crap shoot.
